Adam Lambert's Glamnation live in KL

So, I went to the show lonesome, some of my friends said that I won't enjoy the show. But the real stuff is I really enjoy the glam show. What's wrong with go to concert alone? I love the music and I love Adam Lambert, that's enough for me, besides I met lots of glamberts, so basically I'm not alone.

Waiting for Adam almost took years, but when he was on stage the show gone wild. I forgot where I am, I just so much into the show. The music, the dance and most importantly the voice hypnotized me, I can't think of anything else beside the show. I even forgot to take some picture and video because the show was totally awesome. Adam started it with "Voodoo" as usual, but it was followed by "For Your Entertainment", wow it was surprise for me because Adam usually didn't sing FYE on his Glamnation, it usually play in the beginning before the show start. The funny thing I notice on this show was there's no kiss during "Fever", maybe because of all the protest and because of the country rules. Well, I don't mind if there's kiss because it just for the show. But, it's like what Adam tweet earlier, "My priority is giving you a great show, and I don't mind making a slight compromise to do so. You all are more than worth it!!! Bust out the glitter!!!", he respect the government and he do the best for his audience. Then Adam ended the show with my favorite song, "20th Century Boy". It was an awesome show after all...

Actually during his concert there were a group of women who do protest, they didn't want Adam to perform because Adam is gay. Well, hello, music and sexuality isn't related, music is universal so it doesn't belong to gay or straight community, it belongs to all of us, whoever we are. People who do protest to Adam said that Adam brings gay life style. Errrr, this is more ridiculous because Adam didn't do any speech nor any persuasion during his concert asking us to become a gay. His show message was clear, it's about love, love in many ways. And Adam also tweet, "Does my show "promote the gay lifestyle? It promotes living ANY lifestyle that includes the freedom to seek love and intimacy. Gay, straight, bi, young or old. It's all inclusive. plus, what's THE gay lifestyle? There isnt just one. There are so many different kinds of gay people. We have a variety of different lifestyles. There's not only one lifestyle lived by straight folks. Generalizing....", so it means he doesn't bring any gay lifestyle on his show, he only show his talent, if sometimes he kiss a guy on stage that's only because to entertain the audience it's not because he brings gay message. Don't take Adam's stage antique seriously, it only make you suffer!

Anyway, I already see Adam closely without his stage make up and all I can say is he is so handsome and tall, I can't take my eyes of him. He has his voice, he has a beautiful face and he has an amazing stage presence, that's a great quality for a performer. Adam is truly entertainer and I love him just the way he is... :)

If Adam Lambert is a Korean Idol not American Idol, there isn't a huge DOUBLE STANDARD!

"Treat all as your own self. Do not have a double standard." -Sri Sathya Sai Baba-

Well, lets talk about Adam Lambert in the term of the double standard. Why I bring up this topic? And why Korean Idol? Well, I just thought that quite interesting to write here. Trust me, I'll relate it...

First, I'll speak about Adam Lambert. FYI if you don't know about Adam Lambert, he is a runner up from American Idol season 8. He's remarkable as a guyliner with a turquoise highlight hair and black nail polish. But most of all people will remember him as a singer with an amazing high pitch and powerful voice. During the competition he showed originality and creativity as an artist. He made the audience wondering and yet surprising us with his performance. He covered many songs and made it into totally different version. His version of "Ring of Fire" (although he gets the inspiration from Dilana Robichaux, contestant of Rock Star supernova) is really shocking, and Simon Cowell said "What the hell is that", because he sung the middle eastern with a sitar version of Johnny Cash's song in "Grand Ole Opry" (country) week, OMG! Then a week after Adam sung "Track of My Tears" in "Motown" week and he stripped down into an acoustic version. When he sung it, he dressed up quite differently, he changed his looks: no nail polish and emo style, he choosed a classy style, an Elvis style with clean look on his face. And he sung it so tender and sweet, no glam rock thing in this performance. Couple weeks after (I'm not write week by week of his performance here cause it'll took a time) he did a cover of "Mad World" and he got a biggest reward ever: he got a STANDING O from Simon Cowell!! (Simon never gave standing-O to other contestants since the beginning of American Idol) Simon on his feet, who can imagine that he would gave it to American Idol's contestant, but Adam got it, which mean he's awesome, outstanding, perfect etc etc. Then in the end of the show, Adam finished second, the winner is Kris Allen, public shocked with this result (I'm not comparing Adam and Kris here, because they're both great singer). People keep questioning why Adam didn't win, they thought it's because the rumors, that later, he clarify in Rolling Stone: he is gay.

And like what I wrote before, the competition is over so I'll talk about Adam Lambert career. His album came out, "For Your Entertainment", and it sold over 200.000 copies in a week and his song "Whataya Want from Me" is always on top chart. But a night before he launch his album, he made a debut performance of his single "For Your Entertainment" on American Music Awards (AMA). His performance, yet, made controversy and critics from 1.500 audience. The reason is because of his sexually charged performance and his make-out scene with his male band member. After received so many critics, he didn't regret it and he said it was discrimination "It’s a shame. Female entertainers have been risqué for years. Honestly, there's a huge DOUBLE STANDARD."

Here's Adam Lambert's AMA video:

And I will talk about the double standard here, but before we move on, I will talk about Korean thingy. I didn't mean Korean Idol for real, because I didn't know if they have it or not (I'm not so much into Korea). I use term Korean Idol only to make a comparison. Why Korea? I put Korea because of Korean performer (I dunno much, well OK, I just knew a few of them and it's because my roommate is a Korean holic, she loves everything about Korea and crazy about the singer and actor). From my roommate, I knew some of them and I watch their performance. Then I realize one thing, it's OK in Korea if they do male-on-male action (kissing and hugging) and it isn't a big deal at all if a guy dress up like a girl (drag) to entertain people. I know nothing about Korean-thingy so I put some video here to explain (I took hours to search them but I finally find some)

See this video (I found they have many kiss scene)

And this

How about this TV commercial?

OK, it just a few of them I guess. But from that video, I think, in Korea, man-on-man action is not a big deal, and they even put it on a show to make people laugh, they also do some TV commercials with man-on-man kissing. And Korean celebrities sometimes do a silly thing like dress on a drag or dress like female and act like them only to entertain their fans. My question: is it, male on male act, fine in Korea? Because I think Korean public isn't make a big issue about it.

So, back to Adam Lambert. I personally think that he'll totally fine if he was Korean not American because his sexuality isn't a big issue there and people will enjoy him. His man-on-man kissing will entertaining his Korean fans (maybe) because they not make a big deal with it and people will look him more on his talent not his sexuality. Adam once said on Oprah that he got upset because media usually write him as "Openly gay singer", the "gay" part is come first before the "singer" part, it means media often see him as a gay than a singer. Pathetic...

Well, but Adam is American after all. And because he's an American Idol, I knew him (I guess I'll never knew him if he's a Korean idol lol). Ia dore him as a singer so I will receive the fact that there are people who love and hate Adam Lambert. For me, I love him just the way he is, he's an incredible singer, I don't care he's gay or what, his voice is outstanding. Two singer I love the most are CELINE DION (she's the greatest and I'm a die hard fans of her) and ADAM LAMBERT!

Now, how about enjoy our day with a cup of tea and listen some of Adam Lambert's songs? Have a great day... xoxo

Is Facebook become a Paysite?

OK... I'm tired for some groups about rejecting facebook become a paysite from June 1st... My personal opinion, facebook isn't become a paysite... Why? Because it doesn't make sense for a social network ask people who join it to pay if they can use it free (i.e myspace, friendster, hi5 etc) so facebook won't risk their mass just to gain a little money... Nowadays, a lot of people join facebook (its about 80+ billions) and facebook get a lot of advertisement for it, so why must they lost half of them and all that advertisements just to make a little money? I say a little money because become a paysite just gain less money than become a free site but has tons advertisements in it... My conclusion so far facebook isn't become a paysite... If you still wondering is it true or false, you can just googling it... I do it, and the result is I found nothing a trusted source that confirm about the rumors...

For some groups that invite people about rejecting facebook become a paysite maybe they have a hidden agenda, they'll make spam message to their member for their purpose... And they can suddenly change their group name become something different if they already have a lot of members... I found some group change their name after gain members to something provocative group and their member didn't realize that... So, I hope that we think smart and didn't fall in to their trap... If the information is still a rumor, don't make a wrong decision... Search more information, there's a lot of news that can help us in internet... :-)
